Using movement to teach academic vocabulary in middle and high school
Adolescent ELs often have difficulty mastering academic vocabulary because of its abstract nature, which can negatively influence their comprehension. This study explores the effectiveness of using TPR strategies to improve vocabulary acquisition among adolescent ELs and if text comprehension was subsequently improved.
