Developing norms for scientific sensemaking with resettled refugees
This session involves a presentation about a yearlong after-school program that engaged resettled refugee youth in scientific sensemaking. We make the argument that consistent, longterm scaffolding is needed to engage youth in rich dialogue about science. All session participants will engage in discussion about potential implications.
